Podcast: Building Bone Vitality

For a change of pace I want to feature an interesting podcast I heard recently on the topic of osteoporosis. It was produced by KQED Radio in San Francisco for the show "Forum" hosted by Michael Krasny. Guests on the show were David Karpf, adjunct clinical associate professor of endocrinology at the Stanford University School of Medicine; Dolores Shoback, endocrinologist and professor of medicine at UCSF; and Michael Castleman, health writer and co-author of the new book, "Building Bone Vitality."

I've not read "Building Bone Vitality," but do have it on order and hope to give a review after I've done so. I'm not recommending or endorsing it, but want site visitor's to know it is available at the various online book sellers and bookstores, additionally there is a website dedicated to it.

I hope all the visitors are familiar with podcasts, I find them educational and enjoyable. You can listen directly on your computer or download the file to your MP3 player or iPod so you can listen at your own convenience. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to email me and I'll be glad to try to help. I'd also appreciate any feedback regarding your feelings, positive or negative, about having an occasional podcast in case I find one in the future of interest to those of us with osteoporosis.
